Yearly Exercises

Periodically, throughout the year, Hawaii ARES has state-wide exercises. All amateur radio operators are encouraged to participate. 

• Makani ‘Ino Hurricane Drill - Sept 14 9am - 12pm with Hotwash at 1pm
• Simulated Emergency Test (SET) Exercise - first full weekend in October each year
• Great Shake Out Day - 3rd Thursday in October 
• SKYWARN Recognition Day - 1st Saturday in December

Nets

There are weekly ARES nets around the islands. Please contact the webmaster to add them to this page and the calendar. 

HF ARES Net -  7090 LSB  each Wednesday at 18:30 HST

Biweekly Winlink Net:

A Winlink practice net that meets every other Monday (see calendar).  To join or to find out more, send a Winlink message to NH7IT.
